This 5 days Rwanda gorilla and Akagera wildlife safari take place in two major national parks of Rwanda that is where our guests are set to experience the most magnificent vegetation cover filled with both savanna grassland and woodland and later on tour volcanoes national park where mountain gorilla trekking adventure is conducted to spend an hour with the gentle giants. These 5 days of Rwanda gorilla trekking and Akagera wildlife safari include 5 days and 4 nights of adventure starting and ending in Kigali city. These 5 days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Akagera wildlife safari will allow guests to encounter the primates most especially the endangered mountain gorillas, and other species including mammal species, bird species, butterfly species, and species of plants. Besides mountain Gorillas, they are several animal species such elephants, Rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, leopards, Topis, roan antelope and duiker, klipspringer, impala Oribis, water-buck, and Cape eland, as well as schools of hippos and Nile crocodiles basking in the sun along the shores lake Ihema. And primate species like Vervet monkeys, olive baboons, blue monkeys, and bush babies. These 2 parks are home to several bird species such as the elusive shoebill, African Wattled Plover, Giant Kingfisher, Sacred and Hadada Ibis, Augur Buzzard, papyrus Gonolek, Fan-tailed Widowbird and Caruthers Cisticola African Openbill stock, Grey Crowned Crane, Giant Kingfisher, papyrus Gonolek, Senegal Lapwings, Squacco Herons, African Darter, Long-toed and Water Thick-knee, Hamerkop, Long-crested Eagle, fish eagles, Cattle Egret, and Pied Crow, Black-headed and Viellot’s Black Weavers among others.
