Immerse yourself in the legends of Transylvania with a visit to Bran Castle and Râșnov Fortress on a small group tour. Next up is Bran Castle, also known as "Dracula's Castle"—a hilltop estate that conjures up visions of howling wolves and bats fluttering in the moonlight. After visiting Bran Castle, guests have free time to enjoy the surroundings, whether for lunch, shopping, or photographing the castle grounds. Within the castle courtyard, the Tea House offers visitors the chance to try Coliva, also known as the Funeral Cake—a traditional Romanian dessert made with walnuts, raisins, rum, and other ingredients. Traditionally served during funerals and memorial services, this unique delicacy pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea. Near the castle entrance, a small souvenir market features a variety of traditional masks, handcrafted objects, and textiles. Be sure to ask your guide to point out our favorite stall. Guests may choose between enjoying a leisurely sit-down meal or grabbing something quick on the go. The same market also includes several food stalls, one of the most popular serving Romanian hot dogs (local sausage sandwiches), while Hanul Bran restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious traditional Romanian dishes.
