Our guide was really personable, very knowledgable, and conducted the tour in both English and Spanish. We would have liked more time in the actual rainforest, the majority of the time was spent on the bus, so not as much nature as we had hoped for. The 30 min walk was actually more of a 5-10 minute loop but took close to 30 minutes because of stopping to discuss the flora. The views from the watchtower were nice. Note that getting food in Luquillo takes awhile. We thought we could grab something quick and enjoy it on the beach, but most of the kioskos are sit down restaurants so by the time we finished we really only had maybe 20-30 min at the actual beach before our pickup time. It’s a very touristy place so the beach is crowded and the restaurants are pricey for the quality of food.

We had a wonderful time. Raphael (I think was his name) was a wonderful guide and the swim in the river was so refreshing. Would definitely recommend.
