Flavors of Old San Juan Food Tours
What your day looks like
Become a foodie insider with us in Puerto Rico’s original food and cultural tour of old San Juan. Let us show you our slice of paradise through food! We take you on a progressive walk and eat our way through the city. Sip on Puerto Rico’s most legendary rum cocktail while learning its fabled beginnings. Stroll the cobblestone streets of this 495+-year-old fortified Spanish colonial city and learn about its unique architecture. See the 2nd oldest church in the Americas and re-live the past on our small, boutique tours. Indulge yourself and savor Puerto Rican “must eat” cuisine, like local single origin coffee, artisanal paletas, rich chocolate, fresh ceviche and even make your own signature Puerto Rican dish: Mofongo. We get you involved in the authentic food scene so you leave with the confidence and knowledge that will serve you during the remainder of your stay in sunny Puerto Rico. Our bilingual tour guides have intimate friendships with the San Juan restaurants and you will always receive special treatment. Skip the lines and dine with us for the “in” on “do not miss” restaurants and foodie scenes in and around the city. By the end, you’ll know the best places to dine in Old San Juan. What travelers are saying
Our guide Diego was terrific food was delicious and old san juan is such a beautiful and lively city!
Our group of 5 girlfriends really enjoyed this food tour. Our guide Diego was energetic, interesting, and has a huge love of his home island. We tried many traditional food including mofongo and local coffee. He included some history in his narrative, but it was never too long or too much. We also found it easy to park in nearby the start. As the travel agent and client, I would highly recommend it.
Great tour - really fun and interesting.
Good information about food and the history of PR with good food spots. I would recommend starting your San Juan visit with this tour.
Diego was a great guide. He kept the tour on Tim and was able to accommodate our food allergies. Old San Juan is a great place to explore and eat.
Fun guides.
What a great tour. The guide was excellent. The food was amazing. What a great time.
Leslie Ann was fantastic. I’m really glad I did this tour. It gave me a general lay-of-the-land in old san juan, and a surprising amount of history. The food was more than satisfactory (more than a full meal) and it wasn’t an overt amount of walking. Highly recommend!
