What your day looks like
Get adventurous. Get off the road. Get off the paved trail! See something new and interesting! During this fascinating and advanced tour, we'll seek out some of El Yunque Rainforest's gems and explore a different zone of the Forest. You will see and experience rivers, and waterfalls and walk through natural trails. The initial hike/walk is a 25-30 minute journey up a dirt/rock path with some river wading. This trail is surrounded by bamboo trees, rainforest flowers, and many other beautiful plants. We will first visit a collecting pool that forms at the base of a waterfall. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in its crystal clear waters and enjoy the different tones of its deep pools. A glimpse at the first waterfall is great for picture opportunities! The adventure finishes in a pool area, its best-kept secret. After a few minutes of hiking and climbing boulders (more intense), arrive at a natural river where you can swim, swing from a rope to the river, and enjoy the natural water slides (optional, once you climb the rocks must finish it). At the end, we will make a lunch stop at a local restaurant (food cost not included).

What to Bring
Wear a bathing suit underneath and comfortable clothes Bring a towel and an extra pair of clothing Hiking shoes are strongly recommended, tennis with a good grip also works You must have a good breakfast before departing on tour
Restrictions
This is a moderate to strenuous activity, not suitable for everyone. Participants must be physically capable of walking through steep, rocky, muddy trails for long periods, and have the balance to walk on uneven surfaces. Pregnant ladies, persons with previous injuries, back or knee problems, recent surgery, afraid of altitudes, or other serious medical conditions cannot participate in this tour. Due to safety reasons, participants must be able to understand English or Spanish. Legally blind or deaf persons are not able to participate due to the same. A Private tour would be the most appropriate option in these cases. Please travel light and only bring the necessary to the tour Leave behind electronic devices, any important documentation, large sums of cash or credit cards Cell phones require a waterproof case Bespoke LM Reserves the Right of Admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions, being disruptive, or not dressed appropriately (due to safety) the Guide has the right to cancel No flip-flops or open-toe shoes are allowed.
Meeting & Pickup
Ceiba, Puerto Rico - Your Hotel Lobby or designated meeting point in the San Juan Area. The exact pickup time will be provided the day before the tour. Published starting time is only an estimate. The exact pick-up time will be provided the DAY before your tour. Complimentary transportation from San Juan is included for all tours. Guests may also meet us directly at the tour location — if so, meeting details will be provided the day before the tour. Please note that the tour cost remains the same if clients opt out of the transfer from San Juan.

Fantastic tour! My group and I had a great experience from start to finish! First, the tour guide made sure to call me when they were running just a few minutes late to pick us up from our hotel before I even had time to worry. The transportation was comfortable and seamless, and they communicated with us the entire bus ride over to El Yunque which gave us a really good understanding of what we could expect. During the hike, we had plenty of time to stop and enjoy the trees and flowers. When we got to all the water activities, it was clear that this group takes safety seriously! We saw a lot of other groups with only life jackets. After the water slide and rope swing, I was glad we had helmets in addition to our life jackets. I was so grateful that the tour guides took a bunch of photos for us and shared all of them on our way back. It was nice to be able to leave my phone on the bus and not feel like I missed out on capturing pictures.

Jason was a great tour guide- we had a lot of fun and he was careful about safety. My only complaint was we went to a restaurant afterwards and they were so slow and it took forever. We were pretty tired by then, and it would have been nice to be in and out of there quicker.

This tour was great and a perfect way to see the rainforest. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and helpful and offered different accommodations based on skill and want levels. Everyone was happy !
