We loved our day trip to Sintra and had an amazing tour guide - Simon. The visit went really well; the driver was fantastic, managing the climb up the steep and narrow roads to the Pena Palace. Simon was very friendly and engaging throughout the day. He was also very accommodating to the folks who had some mobility issues. Simon arranged a lunch break at a local restaurant where we had delicious food and a great deal of fun too. I would definitely recommend this tour

Very good excursion. Excellent guide. Only issue we had is that our timed entrance tickets were not being honored which meant we had to wait in a long line to get in which wasted a bit of time. This wasn’t the fault of the operator but rather the palace changed their entrance rules for our particular day.

Nuno was our guide. He was very personable, and was very easy to understand in English. He had a lot of knowledge about Portugal and the other places we visited. He explained everything very well and thoroughly. We loved the gardens at the palace, The palace itself was beautiful, but we really didn’t feel the need to go spend any time in the long lines in the rooms inside. Especially when there were very large groups with a guide that took up a lot of space and made the lines long. Cascais was pretty. Enjoyed the drive to it. We ate at a restaurant there. It’s a good place to shop if you want to. I thought it was pretty touristy. A lot of people everywhere. L
