Day 1
Lisbon
Sightseeing at Lisbon Baixa. Baixa is the downtown district of Lisbon, Portugal, and serves as the commercial and architectural heart of the city. Known for its grand, neoclassical buildings, wide boulevards, and elegant squares, Baixa was extensively rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, which destroyed much of the older part of the city. Meeting & Pickup
We have two pick-up points: 1. In the vinicity of the Time Out Market (“Parque Mercado da Ribeira” parking garage): the pick-up point is located on level -1 (underground) of the “Parque Mercado da Ribeira” parking garage, in the vicinity of Time Out Market. The entrance to the parking is located opposite number 30 Praça Dom Luís I (Blade restaurant), across the street. Upon arrival, go down the stairs or take the elevator to level -1 and follow the Eco Tuk Tuk signs; there you will find your guide waiting for you inside the parking area next to the tuk tuks. 2. Lisbon Cruise Port - Jardim do Tabaco Quay: located at Av. Infante Dom Henrique (1100-651, Lisboa). Please stay next to the main building exit door. Don't leave the terminal! It is important to note that we do not have a physical location at this address; it is only a pick-up point. Please wait outside the pickup point 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

Our 4 hour TukTuk ride went all thru Lisbon!! It ended last night at 8 pm with a panoramic view of the lit up city! Our Tuk Tuk driver was 24 and took us to many local sites, off the route. One “Secret Bar”.

Although the weather wasn’t really the best for riding in a tuk tuk (of course nothing you can do) we had a great time with Miguel. He really knows the history of Lisbon. We loved going to Belém (sun was shining) & we loved loved our pasteles!! Miguel very personable. We would recommend this tour

The pros: The guide was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to help me locate luggage storage while I was in transit of hotels.; she was incredibly helpful. The cons: 4 hours was way too long to endure the cobblestone streets in Lisbon. We also traveled on the main road which has many potholes. It was was very bumpy for too many hours. Also, for sightseeing,, the view was a bit obstructed as the bar and rain window equipment hits at the line of sight. I would recommend having tuktuk stop at some of the pedestrian areas and have guests get out and walk around and meet back up with 30 minute breaks to see some of the local vibe.
