Krakow Ghetto & Auschwitz-Birkenau Full-Day Guided Journey
What your day looks like
Some stories are better understood from where they began. This curated experience starts in Krakow’s former Ghetto, where everyday streets became places of confinement, fear, resilience, and quiet acts of humanity. With a licensed guide, guests walk through Podgórze, Ghetto Heroes Square, and the remaining traces of the Ghetto wall, before stepping inside Eagle Pharmacy, one of the most meaningful sites connected to this chapter of Krakow’s history. Guests may choose the focused Ghetto Walking Tour for a powerful introduction to Jewish Krakow during the Nazi occupation, or select the full-day option that continues to Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau with roundtrip transportation from Krakow. The journey is thoughtfully organized, with a smooth flow from the city to the memorial sites and clear guidance throughout the day. At Auschwitz I, preserved blocks, personal belongings, and the “Arbeit Macht Frei” gate reveal the human scale of history. At Birkenau, the railway tracks, barracks, and remains of gas chambers and crematoria show the vastness of what took place there. Guided with care, respect, and context, this experience offers a meaningful way to connect Krakow’s Ghetto with Auschwitz-Birkenau in one deeply important journey.
