From Kraków: Morskie Oko and Zakopane Tour
What your day looks like
Spend the day very actively and enjoy the trip from Krakow to the Morskie Oko lake. After about 2 hours of walking each way, you will experience the outstanding beauty of nature in the Polish Tatra mountains. Morskie Oko means The Eye of the Sea. It is a lake that was formed from glaciers and is situated right next to the mountains which makes the view even more magnificent. The water filled the space that was made because of stones. Now it is home to many animals and a place for people to explore, which also benefits their health. In Zakopane, take a trip up the mountain Gubalowka - cable car and spend the time at Krupowki Street, the most popular one in the town. This journey will take 2 hours to drive each way depending on traffic. The driver may be up to 15 minutes late depending on the agreed meeting location and time. It takes about 2 hours of walking to get to the Morskie Oko and another 2 hours to get back. Please wear warm and comfortable clothing.
