Transportation. Cusco – Humantay Lake – Salkantay Glamping Early hotel pickup in Cusco and drive through mountain valleys to Mollepata and the trailhead at Challacancha.

Hiking at Humantay Lagoon. Begin your trek to the breathtaking Humantay Lake (4200 m / 13,780 ft), where turquoise waters glisten beneath towering snow-capped peaks. After soaking in the serene beauty, descend to Soraypampa.

Day 2

Hiking at Salkantay. Salkantay Glamping - Salkantay Pass - Collpapampa Start the day with a gradual ascent to Salkantay Pass (4630 m /15190 ft), the trek’s highest point. Take in stunning views of glaciers, cliffs, and turquoise lakes before descending into a lush cloud forest teeming with life.

Local Flavor. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite, then reach Wayracmachay for a mountain lunch prepared by your trekking chef. End the day by sharing dinner at the Collpapampa campsite.

Hiking. Collpapampa – Pachamanca – Coffee Farm – Aguas Calientes Walk through the cloud forest in the morning, passing waterfalls, orchids, and tropical plants along the trail.

Local Flavor. Join locals for a Pachamanca barbecue, an ancient Andean ritual where food is seasoned with native herbs and baked underground using hot stones. Then, visit an organic coffee farm to see how beans are handpicked, roasted and transformed into your very own espresso.

Hiking. Continue the journey with a short scenic drive to Hidroelectrica, then follow the railway tracks on a gentle walk through lush green valleys until you reach the town of Aguas Calientes. End the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4

Cusco

Archaeological Exploration at Machu Picchu. Today we'll visit Machu Picchu and explore the citadel with a professional guide, discovering temples, terraces, and other important sites. Learn about Inca engineering, history, and daily life as you walk along the ancient stone paths.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then after your guided tour of Machu Picchu, take time to explore the town and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Transportation. Take the round-trip bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu for your guided visit. In the evening, board the panoramic Vistadome or 360° train to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transportation to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable trek.
