The Experience

What your day looks like

Recognized by many as one of the best trains in the world, the Hiram Bingham is an exclusive luxury train where you'll enjoy a full day of unforgettable experiences as we journey to the incomparable Machu Picchu, the lost citadel of the Incas. Hiram Bingham wagons are distinguished by their blue and gold colors, warm and cozy interiors, and elegant upholstery. This service has four wagons, two dining wagons, and an observation wagon where you can take in the amazing landscapes of Peru. From the Poroy station, we will embark on this spectacular ride, with a first class experience on board. The train's incredible classic style goes perfectly with the dining room arrangement, making it easy to taste the delightful dishes carefully prepared for us by experienced chefs. The scenic views are breathtaking as we follow the Urubamba River getting closer and closer to the canyon, before arriving at Aguas Calientes. From there, we will take a small bus up the winding road to Machu Picchu. The Lost City of the Incas will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and the solar clock or Intihuatana, all amid a special atmosphere with an expert tour guide. After tea, we will take the train back to Cusco with entertainment and a fine gourmet dinner on board. Upon arrival, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
