Your Itinerary
Your day, step by step
Day 1
Iquitos
Arrival in the city of Iquitos, assistance and transfer to the pier to head to the lodge. We will sail down the Amazon River, the largest river in the world, witness the magnificence of the river, the lush rain forest, and the picturesque riverside villages. Arrival and accommodation at the lodge.

Lunch.

Hiking. We will hike the Communal Reserve of Yanamono, where we will identify various botanical species such as heliconias, medicinal plants and the giant lupuna tree.

Boating. At night, we will take a boat ride along Quebrada Manco to discover the mysterious nocturnal world of the rainforest.

Overnight at the lodge.
Day 2
Iquitos
Birdwatching. Early in the morning, we will have a bird watching tour in the vicinity of Quebrada Cáceres to see various species of local birds, like the tuki, kingfisher, coto hawk, among others.

Boating. Return to the lodge. We will carry on with a boat ride along the Amazon River in search of pink dolphins. Enjoy fishing using native techniques. In the afternoon, we will go toward the lakes located in the Yanamono Island to see the stunning "Victorias Regias".

Nature Walks. After dinner, we will go on a night walk through the lodge surroundings to observe and find tarantulas, fireflies, and other nocturnal Amazonian species.

Meeting & Pickup
Hotel Pickup available. The program includes roundtrip transfer from Iquitos airport to your Lodge and vice-versa in Iquitos. Kindly notice that as the service is provided in group tours, you must arrive at a proper time. Please book flights from Lima arriving at Iquitos before 09:00hrs and for the flights from Iquitos to Lima flights that leave after 17:00hrs. If at the end of your program you decide to stay in Iquitos, please send your hotel information so that we know where to drop you off. Please send your flight information as soon as possible.
