The Experience
What your day looks like
Pick up time 8.30 a.m. The journey to the Wahiba Sands is around 2 hours in an air-conditioned vehicle, traveling through some beautiful and interesting Omani villages. Once you have reached Wahiba Sands your tour guide will let down the tyres to prepare for the journey of a lifetime. You will travel through the vast and endless dunes which vary in size and color daily. There will be many opportunities to take pictures of roaming camels. You will visit the home of a Bedouin Family in the desert, where you will be invited in for Omani Coffee. You will also have the opportunity to go on a camel ride. The finale of this amazing trip through the desert is an incredible dune-bashing experience that is not to be missed. After leaving the beauty of Wahiba Sands you will travel to Wadi Bani Khalid - an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman with pools of clear deep blue water. A short walk takes you to the Wadi and it is truly breathtaking. You will have the chance to swim in the clear water or just take photos and admire the incredible countryside. Post that you will start your journey to Muscat. Once you are refreshed you will head back to Muscat city.

What to Bring
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, especially for swimming in Wadi bani Khalid, wear knee-length shorts & t-shirts for Female Swimmers.
Meeting & Pickup
Pick up from your hotel within Muscat area at 8:30 a.m. For cruise guests, the standard pick-up point is at the Main Gate of the port. Guests will need to take the shuttle bus from the cruise terminal to the main gate.(approximately 600–700 meters). We can also arrange pick-up directly from inside the port at the cruise terminal with a supplement cost that can be selected during booking.
