Trollstigen – Land Of Trolls Tour
What your day looks like
Experience the Land of Trolls with our 6+ hour sightseeing tour to Trollstigen. The bus will take you from Ålesund, through charming Norwegian villages to the Land of Trolls. The first stop will be at Kokarsteinen placed just above the fiord. We will pass by Sjoholt village known for the furniture and wood industry and Valldal – famous for tasty strawberries. The next stop will be at Gubrandsjuvet. It’s a 5 meters narrow and 20 – 25 meters high ravine where you can actually walk to the other side using the bridge. After that, the bus will drive you to the Trollstigen so you can enjoy the majestic view of the natural landscape and fantastic mountain roads with all the spectacular hairpin turns. While driving down the road, we will take an extra photo stop at Stigefossen – the powerful waterfall with a total height of 240 meters. The last stop will be at Trollveggen (Troll Wall) which is Europe’s tallest vertical rock face. From here the bus will drive you via Åndalsnes back to Ålesund.

What travelers are saying
We enjoyed the tour guide, she was very friendly and had a very guide like voice. She was very informative. We did wish we had a little more time at some of the stops, but overall it was a nice trip.
It was a lovely tour of the countryside. The bus trip down the winding road added excitement to the trip, but the bus driver did an excellent job navigating the bus on the hairpin turns. Our group was even able to purchase and taste the delicious strawberries!
Trollstigen was closed and we couldn't even see it. We were not given enough time to see the sights as well as grab something to eat.
The vehicle was substandard. It was old with small windows and we were tightly jammed into it. Not able to see the country side.
guide was interesting but i found the tour a little boring
We had a very nice tour. Cain was well equipped to answer all my questions and he give a detailed account of the sites. It was still a great day!
Excellent tour, guide and driver. It was a warm day and the air conditioning in the bus was not working making it very warm for everyone. I also feel more direction on timing for the lunch stop would have been helpful.
The sights along the way were amazing...and unfortunately the Troll Rd. was closed (which I feel we should have been notified of beforehand). But just an FYI, this trip had alot of driving for a few short stops.
