On the opposite side, you will see the Royal Palace, home of the King and Queen of Norway, situated on a hill overlooking the city and Karl Johans gate, the main pedestrian shopping street in Oslo city center. After exploring the city center highlights, we will head to the district of Frogner, a quiet and elegant residential area. Here lies one of Oslo’s most impressive attractions. What happens when one man creates hundreds of sculptures and gifts them to the city? You get Vigeland Park. We will share the story of Gustav Vigeland and explore the world’s largest sculpture park as we walk along its paths toward the highlight, the Monolith. Before you know it, nearly three hours will have passed, and it will be time to return to the city center. This tour offers a perfect introduction to the beauty and culture of Oslo.
