Oslo & Vigeland Park Private Walking Tour
What your day looks like
Are you finding it hard to pick out Oslo's top "must-see" spots? Let us help! Together we'll sculpt the perfect experience as we walk through the city centre ending up in one of our favourite parks, Vigeland Park. We guarantee an all-encompassing experience that will leave you in awe of what Oslo offers. We'll start by painting a picture of the story of Oslo from the Nobel Peace Center, where we have a pristine view of the Oslo Fjord. With Akershus Fortress looming in the distance, she stands guard, watching over Oslo's waterfront and Aker Brygge. We'll reveal some of the greatest Norwegian playwrights at The National Theatre and present the Oslo City Hall, home of the local government and an art gallery in itself. We'll also show off the Royal Palace, perched on a hilltop overlooking the main pedestrian shopping street, Karl Johans gate. Once we have enjoyed a pleasant stroll through the city centre, we'll jump on a tram destined for an Oslo essential. Any ideas about which one? Stepping off the tram, we arrive in the area of Frogner, where the grand gates of Vigeland Park greet us. One man, hundreds of sculptures, it's the largest sculpture park in the world. How is it possible, you ask? The magic of Gustav Vigeland, one of Norway's most appreciated sculptors. We promise you won't be disappointed. The park is jaw-dropping, so we want to take our time with the experience - you have the option to finish your tour in Vigeland Park after a short guided tour in the park. If you prefer to start with Vigeland Park, that's always an option, ending the tour in the city centre. Just like Gustav Vigeland, we've managed a feat of our own. We've covered all the "must-sees" of Oslo in only a few hours on our Oslo & Vigeland Park Private Walking Tour, which is no small challenge!
