The Experience

What your day looks like

This walking tour provides a complete understanding of Belfast, it's history and the 'troubles' whilst also looking at the positives, the bridges that have ben built to create a modern, vibrant, creative city. We also reflect one of the great positives of life here , our sense of humour; we’ve been walking the streets for money since 2009! Factually accurate and fair, we use local guides who like people and who’ve lived lives to deliver a wonderful, intelligent, fun experience in good company.

Arthur is an amazing guide! If you are interested in understanding evolution of history in Belfast this tour is a must. We found the content to be balanced in perspective, the right length of time to learn, plenty of opportunity to ask question, and appreciated the additional learning resources.

Feedback from clients: The Troubles walking tour was just ok. Our guide said he was an ego maniac and he lived up to it! He was all over the place, assumed and didn’t really explain what we were seeing. He specifically said no questions until the end. If you asked a question you got ridiculed. Again more for your info. Not sure if it was the specific guide (he may also be the owner of the your company).

Arthur was a great tour guide - super knowledgable and personable. You know it's a success when 3 teenage boys say it was the best walking tour they have ever been on! Highly recommend!

Thank you for your inspiring tour. We learned a great deal about Belfast and Northern Ireland history; more importantly, we gained new perspectives on past events and your insight into the future. Sadly, much of history is one-sided and we need more people like you to provide depth and dimension. You spent more time with us due to our many questions --- and the weather (thunder snow and rain). We sure did need that break at Cafe Nero for tea and treats. Please thank First Presbyterian for hosting our visit. I (Liz) did not know that my Presbyterian heritage played a role in building bridges, rather than walls.
