What your day looks like
Your guide will lead you on a 50-minute group tour through the enchanting Waitomo Glowworm Cave, sharing fascinating stories of the cave’s history, its captivating glowworms, and stunning natural formations. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on a flat-bottomed boat that glides along the Waitomo River, allowing you to quietly marvel at the thousands of shimmering glowworms above. Continue your adventure with a visit to New Zealand’s largest free-flight dome aviary in Otorohanga Sanctuary, where you’ll have the chance to observe active kiwi birds throughout the day. Then, discover the art of tea appreciation at Zealong Tea Estate, where you can savor high tea or lunch in a beautiful setting. Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
