This tour was amazing! We were picked up right on time and whisked away to Weta Workshop where we had a fabulous tour. We went to Mount Victoria park for some filming locations. Then we were taken to a grocery store to pick up lunch (the bakery they normally go to was inexplicably closed), but the food was good and we enjoyed a nice picnic before getting back in the vans for more filming locations. All in all, a fantastic day. Our only two minor complaints were: 1) one of the two tour guides spent an awfully long time recapping the films at Mt. Victoria, which was really unnecessary considering we were all fans of the films; and 2) we were nearly late for all aboard for our cruise ship (most likely because of reason #1). But, we did make it back 1 minute before all aboard, so all was well. We'd all do it again in a heartbeat!
