What your day looks like
The Bay of Islands boasts the world’s second bluest sky, just after Rio de Janeiro. This full-day tour begins with a pickup from Auckland city, followed by a scenic three-hour drive north into the beautiful Far North District. Upon reaching Paihia, you’ll set off on a 4.5-hour guided catamaran cruise, searching for dolphins and other marine life. You’ll navigate between the bays and the 144 islands of this remarkable region, including a visit to the iconic Hole in the Rock on Motukokako Island. There will also be a stopover, where you can relax on the beach or take a short hike to the island’s peak for sweeping 360° views. After an unforgettable day, we’ll make our way back to Auckland via the scenic roads of Northland.
