The museum was built as a temple to Dutch history in the 19th century, but our understanding of that history has expanded since then. This tour explores the full breadth of Dutch and Amsterdam history, both the traditional figures and those often overlooked or misunderstood. See the famous Dutch artists in a new light while also taking in some truly astounding works created by and showcasing the stories of women, LGBTQ+, Jewish, and BIPOC people in the Netherlands and beyond.
