The Experience
What your day looks like
Starting from your hotel or cruise ship in Amsterdam, you will be picked up to drive through the Netherlands. You will stop outside of Amsterdam to learn more about the history of the city. Your local guide and driver will tell you about the battle against the water the Dutch are fighting for ages. You will stop at a cheese farm to visit the cows stable to learn more about the farm and to meet the animals. You will also receive an explanation about cheese making before you can taste a variety of cheeses at their cheese shop. Your trip continues up north to the famous Enclosing Dike. A more than 30 kilometers long wall that blocks the water from the North Sea and keeps a large part of the Netherlands safe and dry. You will stop here to have a look around and for a cup of coffee. From here, you will drive to Giethoorn for lunch before getting on a boat to see why this unique village is called "Venice of the North". After an exciting day, your guide will drive you back to Amsterdam.
