The Experience

What your day looks like

Our journey starts beside the historic Jewish synagogue. The old Jewish Quarter is where Jews from the Iberian peninsula fled to, to avoid persecution. You’ll also discover several hidden gems in the area, as our guide shares stories that will make history feel within arm’s reach. During the tour, there is also the opportunity to grab a light refreshment and some apple pie. Afterwards, we can walk or take a tram to the city centre as we make our way West. After a short stroll, we end at the Westerkerk, the church Anne could see from the attic window. We will see the famous tower before our final destination, outside the Anne Frank House. This tour ends at the Anne Frank house. The guide does not go inside with you. PLEASE NOTE: Anne Frank ticket availability depends on the date of the tour and how long before that date a booking is made. If the booking is at least 7 weeks before the tour, then YES there is a very high chance we will be able to secure tickets for you (last minute closures by the house can sometimes lead to there being no tickets for certain dates). If the booking is up to 10 days before the tour, there is still a very high chance we can get the tickets to the house. If we are unable to get tickets for whatever reason, or if mobility is an issue (the house has very steep stairs and is very crowded), we then provide a virtual reality simulation of the house instead.
