Countryside North Bike Tour (Regular)
What your day looks like
On this amazing guided countryside bike tour, you’ll be taken through the beautiful Dutch countryside of Waterland to the north of Amsterdam. Our friendly and fun local guide will take you from close by Central Station, along the IJ Boulevard where you will catch a ferry that will take you across the IJ, to Noord. Continuing on your bike, our tour takes you northwards along the North Holland Canal past a windmill, and into the Dutch polder landscape with its many ditches and dikes. As the tour heads west you will cycle through several enchanting villages, including Zunderdorp, with its natural ice rink. You'll also pass through the cute village of Ransdorp, with its many listed buildings and church tower with amazing views of the area. As you cycle back towards Amsterdam there will be an opportunity to visit a local eco-farmers cooperative to sample some of the local cheeses.
