Paragliding In Pokhara
What your day looks like
Gliding is a weather-dependent sport and the flying season in Nepal commences in all seasons, however, the best months are March to May and October to December. The takes off point for these flights is Mandre Danda (1788 meters/5866 feet from sea level), which also offers prime views of Fewa Lake and mountains at sunrise and sunset (provided the sky is clear) and the landing is near the Fewa lake. No previous experience is required as qualified pilots provide a short briefing before launching. The trip will start from your hotel. Our driver will come there to pick you up and it will take a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara to Mandre Danda. From there you can see 3 of the highest mountains in the world, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manasalu, all over 8000 m. We offer 3 types of tandem flights from here. You will fly from Mandre Danda and after half an hour flight you will be landed on the side of Fewa Lake and you will be escorted to the hotel.
