The Experience

What your day looks like

From the bedazzling Himalayan peaks rising to colossal heights to the world’s deepest gorges and exuberant river valleys, Annapurna’s geomorphologic riches are utterly unprecedented. As such, the Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most amazing off-the-beaten-paths treks in the Annapurna region. It is a short trekking journey that takes trekkers into the heart of the Annapurna region and presents the rather obscure treasures that beautiful Annapurna possesses. The journey begins from the amiable lake-side city of Pokhara, the famous tourist hub of the country. All along the journey, views of Himalayan peaks like the Annapurna massif, the Hiunchuli (6441m), Gangapurna (7454m), the Mardi Himal (5553m) and the Machhapuchhre (6997m) among many others tower over the path in a spectacular fashion. The Mardi Himal Trek diverts away from the more crowded settlements and villages of the region to change courses that lead towards the hidden gems of the Annapurna, like Lumle, Phedi and the Siding villages. The rich culture of the most-southerly area of the Annapurna remains untouched by modernization and thus, the journey presents trekkers with authentic traditional experiences of an unadulterated Himalayan life. Separating the southwest ridge of the Machhapuchhre Peak (6997m), the Mardi Himal (5553m) rises from the rock buttress to loom over the steep valley heavily wooded with bamboo and blossoming rhododendrons home to rich wildlife. The trekking region is also home to an extremely unique natural biome of ecological diversity. All these and many more factors play the role in presenting Mardi Himal is one of the most amazing trekking destinations. Similarly, the Mardi Himal Trek is a moderate trekking journey that can be done quite easily without any previous trekking experience necessary. Be our valued guests on this wonderful adventure. Himalayan Recreation is dedicated to providing the best quality services to our customers. Our well-rounded packages are created with the utmost attention and incorporate the best features and aspects for unforgettable trekking journeys.
