Your day, step by step
Windhoek
Sightseeing. Welcome to Namibia! After being picked up by your tour guide, you will journey through Windhoek City before leaving the city and continuing north along the B1 main road, passing through settlements. In one of the towns, you'll have lunch and refuel your car. You will stop briefly at Lake Otjikoto along the way; it is the smaller of Namibia's two permanent natural lakes. It is a sinkhole lake that resulted from a karst cave collapse. The B1 main road is only 100 meters from the lake. The lake has a diameter of 102 meters (335 feet), but its depth is unknown.
