Embark on an extraordinary three-day journey through the Namib Desert, one of the world's oldest and most captivating landscapes. This expedition takes you deep into the heart of Namib-Naukluft National Park, where geological wonders and otherworldly beauty await at every turn. Your adventure begins with Dune 45, an iconic sand mountain that rises dramatically from the desert floor. The legendary Big Daddy dune towers over the landscape and offers an unparalleled perspective of the desert's immense scale. Dead Vlei stands as a photographer's paradise and a testament to the desert's transformative power. Here, ancient acacia trees stand frozen in time, their skeletal forms stark against a white clay pan, surrounded by towering red dunes. The Sesriem Canyon adds another layer of geological wonder, revealing millions of years of natural history carved by wind and rare water flows. This carefully crafted expedition provides an intimate encounter with one of the most remarkable landscapes on Earth. Your Itinerary
Your day, step by step
Day 1
Windhoek
Welcome aboard! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure :) We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house between 8 am and 8.30 am and depart at 8:30 am straight on the way south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. Our lunch will be at the Solitaire Oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, so we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest will be necessary as you are expected to wake early tomorrow morning.

Day 2
Windhoek
Sightseeing at Sossusvlei. Sightseeing tour: Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch.

Sightseeing at Sesriem Canyon. Sesriem Canyon: We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activity for the day.

Day 3
Windhoek
Sightseeing. Spreetshoogte Pass: Soon after breakfast we will depart to Windhoek through beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. On our way we will stop-over at Solitaire.

We will approximately arrive at our destination in the afternoon. We will drop you off at the hotel/lodge of your choice Farewell, goodbye. It's been a pleasure sharing this journey with you. We hope you enjoyed every step along the way!

Meeting & Pickup
