Your day, step by step

Welcome aboard! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure :) We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house between 8 am and 8.30 am and depart at 8:30 am straight on the way south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. Our lunch will be at the Solitaire Oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, so we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest will be necessary as you are expected to wake early tomorrow morning.

Sightseeing at Sossusvlei. Sightseeing tour: Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch.

Sightseeing at Sesriem Canyon. Sesriem Canyon: We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activity for the day.

Sightseeing. Spreetshoogte Pass: Soon after breakfast we will depart to Windhoek through beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. On our way we will stop-over at Solitaire.
