Overall, this was a really good experience. Our pick up was easy and on time. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Our driver, Hassan, was a very nice man. Super polite and pleasant. He didn’t speak much English so we didn’t get a lot of info or history about the beautiful areas we were driving by. Loved the camels! The walking tour was fascinating. Our guide, Bilal, was funny and pleasant, and he had good English so we got a lot more from this part of the tour. He was on his phone a lot while we walked but he still provided good info. One thing that caught us by surprise….he had several planned spots where he told us we would “learn about”, for instance, Berber rug making. This turned out to be code for someone trying to sell us rugs (“the more you buy, the better the deal”). He took us to three different places where we were sat down and got pretty hard sales pitches. It was fine, really, once we figured it out. But we were taken aback at first. I think it’s good to know in advance that this is going to happen. It’s a long tour so a brief stop for tea and a snack would probably be a good addition. But again, overall a very good experience. Tangier is a beautiful city.
