What your day looks like

Guests journey deep into the High Atlas Mountains, travelling approximately 100km from Marrakech into a region of dramatic valleys, traditional Berber villages, and striking mountain scenery. Along the way, the landscape gradually shifts from the city’s bustle to open countryside, with views of rugged peaks — often snow-capped depending on the season. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into a local family home, reached by a short walk through the village. The experience begins with a simple, locally sourced breakfast before continuing with optional guided walks through the surrounding valley, offering insight into daily life, agriculture, and community traditions. Visits may also include the historic Tin Mal Mosque and a stop to observe traditional tagine-making techniques, with the opportunity to try shaping clay by hand. The experience culminates with a home-cooked lunch prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients, served in a relaxed and authentic setting. After time to unwind and take in the mountain surroundings, guests return to Marrakech, having experienced a meaningful glimpse into life in the Atlas Mountains and Berber hospitality.
