What travelers are saying
Excellent - our tour guide was outstanding. It was a rainy day but our guide, knowing the area, provided an outstanding experience, taking us to a small mountain producer of prosciutto for a private tasting, a lovely small town and monastery that gave us a great feel for the country and culture and had the foresight to alter the tour due to traffic to ensure we had time to walk through the historic Kotor - Merkel (i believe that was the spelling) was educated, balanced, and very much in love with his country. Loved the day.
Sanja was our tour guide for Montenegro. We were late getting off our ship, but Sanja waited an hour for us and altered her normal tour in order to fit as much as possible in with a reduced timeline. She was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Kotor as well as the other two venues we visited, Budva and Sveti Stefan. She even drove us in her personal vehicle. I would highly recommend requesting her as you guide if you're doing a small group tour in Montenegro.
Sanja did an excellent job taking us around the town of Kotor and explaining the history. She so wanted to make our visit special and she did! Highly recommend her as a guide!
Sonja was our tour guide and she did an amazing job at showcasing the Montenegro area despite having to cut our tour short because of shop tender problems. She has such a passion for her country and it was very evident in her tour of the area. What a beautiful country and thanks for such a memorable guided tour.
