After midmorning pickup, travel with your guide about 24 miles (39 km) south of Ensenada to the Punta Banda Peninsula. En route, enjoy the passing landscapes of mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Arrive at La Bufadora, the largest sea geyser in North America. Hear from your guide about how air, trapped in a sea cave, causes water to explode upward, often shooting more than 100 feet (31 meters) above sea level, creating a thunderous noise. Wine Route was great. We had Ricardo and he was the best. Walked us around LaBufadora and didn’t rush us, we had plenty of time to shop and see the blow hole. On the way back we asked if we could stop for tacos and ceviche where the locals go and he took a us to 2 great spots! Request Ricardo! He was the best!

We enjoyed the tour of La Bufadora altho we thought the tour included seeing some of the city sites. We felt like a captive audience for the vendors with all of their offers of food & souvenirs. Our guide took us through some very depressed areas of the town and we learned this was the back way rather than thru the town.
