Exploring the South of Martinique: Your journey begins with a visit to the Trois Rivières distillery. Although no longer active, this site reveals the secrets of Martinique’s famous agricultural rums, including special white and aged vintages. Enjoy a tasting session and browse the boutique for your favorite bottles. Don’t miss the hut offering delightful coconut products. Heritage Unveiled: Next, we’ll stop at the Cap 110 memorial, a poignant tribute to the victims of slavery. The 15 towering busts arranged in a triangle symbolize the slave trade routes between Europe, Africa, and America. Scenic and Historic Views: Ascending the hill, we’ll arrive at a viewpoint overlooking Diamond Rock. Your guide will share the fascinating history of this former volcanic island and its connection to Martinique and France. Be sure to capture the stunning vistas with your camera! Relaxation and Exploration: Our journey continues to Les Anses d’Arlet, a picturesque fishing village nestled in a serene cove. Marvel at the recently restored church steeple aligned perfectly with the pier, making for an iconic Martinique photo. Relax on the pristine white sand beach, swim, or snorkel in the nearby reefs, where you might spot turtles and colorful fish. Savoring Local Flavors: We’ll conclude our tour with a stop at Le Lamentin for a sensory experience of local spices, chocolates, coffees, and teas. What to know before booking

- Snorkeling equipment might be available. - Lunch is not included. You will have the opportunity to buy a snack in bakeries during the tour, and you should be back at your departure point by 2pm for lunch.
What to Bring
Please bring a towel for the beach.
Meeting & Pickup
For cruise passengers, the departure will be at the port exit, close to taxi drivers. We will hold a sign with your name on it. For customers staying on the island the pick up is free in Fort de France and Schoelcher. Extra costs apply to other towns or we can have a central meeting point.

Our tour guide did a good job explaining the sites along the way. We enjoyed the Artisan shops & bakery at first stop. We were expecting some time to swim but it was not an area that looked appealing nor was there enough time to change. If you go, make sure you wear your swim suit as it is an ordeal to use the bathroom once you are able to find it. The rum distillery was not a working distillery, although we were able to sample some rum. Our guide gave us a small plastic cup of water half way through, a piece of cake (which she didn't know what kind) & about 1/4 shot of rum on the bus. The tour was average & priced too high. I wish i could rate it higher as she and the bus driver were very nice.
