What your day looks like
Spend the day accompanied by your guide. Following collection from your hotel venture on a Male City Tour, visiting the fish market, local market, Presidents Palace, Friday Mosque, as well as discovering a few points off the beaten track! Stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants overlooking the waterfront before taking the public ferry to Villimale’. Here join Save the Beach and discover the quieter side of city life by exploring the smaller island of Villimale’, located southwest of Male. Wander the quiet streets, learn the names of local trees and learn more about the conservation work being carried out by Save The Beach. Before returning to Male’, sample traditional ‘hedika’ at a local café on the beach. Hedika is traditional sweet and savory snack served with black tea and taken between 3.00 and 5.00 pm.

Restrictions
We request female guests to dress with modesty (shorts/skirts/dresses should at the very least cover the upper thigh and shoulders/chests should be covered) when visiting Male. Should you wish to enter the mosques, particularly on the Male City Walking tour long trousers are required for both male and female guests.
Meeting & Pickup
Meet up at the Jetty 1 Male, opposite Republic Square, Collection from hotels in Male/Hulhumale or cruise tender jetty available upon request. Collection from resorts available at extra cost. Return transfer from the airport, hotels in Hulhumale, Malé, or the cruise tender jetty is available upon request at an additional charge of $20 net per two persons.
