What your day looks like

Our adventure will begin in the capital of Madagascar, where you will have the opportunity to wander through the architectural history of the city, composed of 3 levels: the high city, in the palace where the old king and queen lived, the middle city where villagers lived, and the low city that used to be covered by ricefieldsd. This tour will propose to you a variety of wildlife as chameleons,lizardsd, anmore. Notot only will you discover those animals, but you will also have an opportunity to see the lemur flagship of Madagascar, the ring-tailed lemur or the Indri, or Babakoto, the father of *koto*. Furthermore, we will have the opportunity to discover the Malagasy handicrafts, an occasion for us to buy souvenirs. Ranomafana National Park is another paradise to see the wildlife, including 12 different lemur species, and also reptiles, birds, butterflies, etc. On this tour, we will go to Isalo National Park, a 815km² large park with sandstone landscape that has been eroded by wind and rain into plateaus, canyon, etc. Onn the last day, we will arrive inTulearr Ifaty, where we can enjoy the facilities of the hotel, or evenrentg a boat, and do snorkelling.

Day 2

Antananarivo

Eco Tour at Peyrieras Reptile Reserve. Antananarivo - Andasibe: Day two sets off heading east, where you’ll quickly get up close and personal with the island’s vibrant array of wildlife. Chameleons, lizards, frogs, snakes, butterflies, and Sifaka Lemurs are only a short list of creatures you’ll see first-hand at the Peyrieras Madagascar Exotic Reserve. With so many more species of lemur, like Indri and ring-tailed, we will next head farther out to Andasibe, the world-renowned lemur-watching paradise.

Wildlife & Eco Tourism. Parc Mitsinjo: In the afternoon, we will visit Parc Mitsinjo, where you can find chameleons, snakes, birds, and most importantly, the largest lemur species, Indri. When night falls, perhaps your true inner-explorer can come alive as we’ll hike through the forest to catch a glimpse of night lemurs and other nocturnal friends.

Day 3

Andasibe

Eco Tour at Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. Andasibe: We can’t see it all in just one day, though. Spend more hours wandering through Andasibe National Park on Day 3. Unique, rare, and endangered all describe the species of animals you’ll see here, including 11 different lemur species.

Wildlife & Eco Tourism. Lemurs Island and Crocodile Park: In the afternoon, the wildlife adventure continues as we visit Lemurs Island and Crocodile Park. There, you’ll walk among flora and fauna unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Andasibe

Accommodation: Vakona Forest Lodge (or similar).

Day 4

Andasibe

Transportation: After a couple of days in nature, Day 4 combines travel and tour. We will depart Andasibe early in the morning, heading inland 7.5 hours through beautiful highlands and valleys to the colourful and classic city of Antsirabe. The French called it ‘The city of water’ for its thermal springs.

Sightseeing. Andasibe - Antsirabe: Once there, Madagascar’s iconic rickshaws will wheel you around to all the top sites.

Day 5

Ranomafana

Transportation. Transportation: Today, we will travel from Antsirabe to Ranomafana, which means ‘hot water’ in the local language.

Local Flavor. Antsirabe - Ranomafana: Before arriving at Ranomafana, we will visit a city called Ambositra, which is believed as the capital of Malagasy handicraft. We will visit a handicraft shop.

Day 6

Antananarivo

Eco Tour at Ranomafana National Park. Ranomafana: Day 6, we are going to spend around 4 hours in Ranomafana National Park, another paradise to see the wildlife, including 12 different lemur species, and also reptiles, birds, butterflies, etc.

Nature Walks at Ranomafana National Park. Night walk: After taking some rest in the afternoon, when it gets dark, we will start a guided night walk. Visiting some night lemurs and other nocturnal animals.

Day 7

Ranohira

Transportation: Ranomafana - Ranohira. After the visit to the rain forest, we are moving to the dry tropical area. We will take a 5-hour drive to Ranohira, a town close to Isalo National Park.

Eco Tour at Anja Community Reserve. Anja Community Reserve: On the way, we will visit the Anja Community Reserve. One of the best places to see the icon of Madagascar is the ring-tailed lemur.

Day 8

Antananarivo

Hiking at Isalo National Park. Ranohira: Isalo National Park, a 815km² large park with a sandstone landscape that has been eroded by wind and rain into plateaus, canyons, etc. According to your fitness level, we will do some hiking and visit some popular attractions.

Day 9

Ifaty

Transportation. Transportation: Ranohira - Ifaty. For the last destination, we will go to the seaside. After a 3.5-hour drive, we will arrive in Tulear, the largest city in the south of Madagascar. After a short visit to Tulear, we will take one more hour's drive north to Ifaty to visit Reniala Reserve.
