Learn how bark from fast-growing mulberry bushes—also an essential food source for silkworms—is boiled, beaten, and transformed into fine handmade paper, highlighting its importance to local handicrafts and the silk industry. During the workshop, you will design and personalize your own mulberry paper using flowers, leaves, and other natural decorations. You will also learn the traditional sun-drying process, allowing the paper to dry naturally under sunlight. Next, expand your creativity by crafting a custom paper lantern, guided step by step by skilled artisans.
