Transportation. Your safari begins in Nairobi, where your Jossec Safaris driver-guide will meet you at your hotel, residence, or the airport at the agreed time. After a short safari briefing, you will depart Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you leave the city behind and travel toward the scenic Amboseli ecosystem. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and have time to settle in and enjoy lunch.

Wildlife Safari at Amboseli National Park. Later in the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, many of which can be seen moving across the open plains with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous bird species.

Wildlife Safari at Lake Nakuru National Park. You will then depart Amboseli and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive offers an opportunity to see the changing scenery of Kenya, from the dry landscapes around Amboseli to the dramatic escarpments and fertile highlands of the Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Nakuru, you will check in at your luxury hotel.

Wildlife Safari at Maasai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to encounter the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, and many other species. Your experienced driver-guide will work with you to make the most of your time in the reserve. Because this is a private safari, you have greater flexibility to discuss the pace of the game drive and the wildlife you would particularly like to see.

Wildlife Safari at Maasai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, Jossec Safaris will begin the return journey from the Maasai Mara to Nairobi. As you travel, take time to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past five days—from the elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli to the wildlife of Lake Nakuru and the unforgettable game drives across the Maasai Mara. You will arrive in Nairobi later in the day, where you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.

What to Bring
Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing in neutral or earthy colors such as khaki, beige, brown, or green. Bring a warm jacket or fleece for cool early-morning and evening game drives. Comfortable closed shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended. Pack light, as luggage space in safari vehicles is limited. Bring your passport and all required travel documents. November can experience occasional rain, so a light rain jacket is advisable. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as animals move freely in their natural habitat. The safari is private and based on two people sharing one room. Any single-room requirement may attract an additional supplement.
