What your day looks like
This safari takes you to Masai Mara National Reserve which is located in southwest Kenya is a vast scenic expanse rolling African savannah plains and bordering the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Masai Mara is a unique wildlife haven, known for its majestic natural diversity of wildlife and happens to be a premier Safari destination in East Africa, this animal paradise offers Large numbers of Lions, African Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Cheetah, Elephant, Rhino, Zebra and many. It is no surprise that tourists from the world over travel Maasai Mara not least because it has been voted among the new Seven Wonders of the World. Its name was availed from the Maasai tribe, the nomadic inhabitants of the area, and the word Mara means spotted. In Maasai Mara, we shall game drives and a tour of Maasai village. Lake Nakuru National Park is located 140km northwest of Nairobi and a sanctuary to some of the world’s most endangered creatures in the Great Rift Valley. Here you will enjoy Indigenous mammals like the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, rhino, waterbuck, impala, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, leopard, lion, gazelle, striped hyena, vervet monkeys, baboons and golden cat, bat-eared fox, wild cat, reedbuck, lion, black and white rhino and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, and over 450 species of birds inclusive of over 1.5 million flamingos belted on shores of Lake Nakuru. This safari is available throughout the year and starts and ends in Nairobi.

Day 1

Sightseeing. Welcome to Kenya! Early in the morning depart Nairobi for the worlds famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The park is blessed with beauty of sprawling savannah, meandering rivers, rolling hills, river line forests, which offers wide grazing area for the multitudes of wildlife and bird species among which the big fives are permanent residents. Enjoy a leisurely and spectacular road trip with a brief stopover at the View Point to marvel at the fascinating beauty of The Great Rift Valley.

Nakuru
Lake Nakuru Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. A fresh water lake with about 2 million pink flamingos that flock to feast on the teeming algae, it is a home to over 450 bird species and it hosts a sanctuary to The Black Rhino and White Rhino accompanied by the sizeable population of other wildlife species. Upon arrival at Nakuru head to the lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
