What your day looks like
Discover the Masai Mara National Reserve on a 3-day tour from Nairobi with transfers from the city’s hotels and airport. Go deep into the African plains and set out on daily game drives across the park. Ideal safari for first-time safari-goers. All the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino are here with many mammals and birds in this Masai Mara plain. Watch for the animals that emerge at dusk, see hippos and crocodiles along the banks of the Mara River, and see the park’s stunning ‘Great Migration'. Accommodation: based on tour option chosen at time of booking (standard, superior, luxury) Transport: based on tour Van. Possible extra activities: hot air balloon ride in Masai Mara, visit of Maasai community, Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island, boat ride and walking tour.

Day 1
Nairobi
Welcome to this trip, we hope you will enjoy it! Pick up from your place either airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 07:30am and after a short briefing and all the formalities depart (260km) to Masai Mara via the view-point of the western Great Rift Valley

Eco Tour at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Game drive: You will start the first introduction game drive at 4pm tracking various animal species and birds which inhabit here. Your guide will spot wildlife and provide details of their behavior and way of life.

Day 2
Nairobi
Wildlife Safari at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Try to see all the Big 5: In case you are not going for balloon ride your day starts with the breakfast at the camp / lodge and by 7:00am you'll leave for extensive game drive. Today you we will try to see all the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). The landscape here is scenic Savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for viewing and photography. * This day you have an option to start with hot air balloon ride. A great opportunity to explore Masai Mara from a bird's eye view. Pickup time for this activity is 5:30am from your camp / lodge in Masai Mara. The cost is 425 USD p/p. The ride lasts 1 hr, your guide comes to meet you after the ride and you continue with game drive in the park.

Day 3

Wildlife Safari at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Game Drive: Early breakfast and check out from the camp / lodge at 07:00am with game drive en route while we exit the park (in case you stayed in the park). Your lunch is served in Narok town at 12pm. There will be the store where you can buy some souvenirs to remind you of a great holiday in Mara.

Leisure. Optional activities: * You have an option to visit the Maasai village before we leave to Nairobi. Note gratuities are given to maasai people when you visit their village (approx 20 USD p/p). * You have an option to visit Lake Naivasha at 3:30pm on our way back to Nairobi. The boat ride usually takes 1 hr but it might be extanded if you decide to walk on Crescent Island. Note gratuities are given to the boat drivers when you visit the lake (
