Your tour begins with a visit to Hasedera (Hase Temple), where you will see beautiful gardens and a view over the bay. We’ll discuss the Jodo sect of Buddhism over tea and traditional snacks. Next, marvel at the iconic Great Buddha of Kamakura at Kotoku-in, an outdoor bronze statue dating back to 1252. If time allows, you will also visit the Tsurugaoka-Hachimangu Shrine. All visits are exterior. Round-trip train tickets are included to ensure a seamless travel experience.
