Restrictions
Due to security reasons, children under 7 years of age aren't allowed on this tour and minors under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the religious nature of the Cathedral, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry. We ask all guests (including children) bring ID on the day of their tour. All guests must pass through security. No weapons or large items are allowed inside. Only small handbags are allowed inside the Accademia Museum. There is no bag check or storage available. Shoes with heels and flip-flops are prohibited inside the Cathedral.
Meeting & Pickup
Please note that the tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the start time. At Piazza San Marco, by the statue in the middle of the square. This is a centrally-located square adjacent to Via degli Arazzieri and Via Giorgio la Pira, about 1/3 mile north of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. This tour is packed with history. The only unfortunate thing was the weather, which did not cooperate, so that the church was dark and could not be seen in all it's glory. Halfway through, the Church personnel turned the lights on and the majesty of the mosaics came though, but if the sun had been out, it would have been awesome! the Duomo's palace was impressive, and it was cool to learn about the bridge of sighs. Overall, I was impressed, and would recommend this tour.

Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Being able to skip the line was a huge plus, and we enjoyed seeing both the David and climbing to the top of the Duomo! Just be prepared to cover your knees and shoulders when entering the cathedral

Tour guide was amazing. Loved the view on top of the dome. So glad did not have to wait in line at cathedral. Such a great experience. Wish could have spent more time looking at paintings in the museum with David. But loved hearing from the guide.
