Trastevere is a buzzing neighborhood filled with exciting nightlife, local favorite restaurants, and the city’s most authentic street food. Skip the line at some of Rome’s most iconic restaurants, enjoy wine tasting in spots that have stood for thousands of years, and finish your walking tour with the finest Italian gelato. Look no further: this is the best-selling and top reviewed food tour in the world. Experience for yourself what thousands of happy guests have raved about for more than a decade. Important Note: Every departure features 6–7 delicious stops through the charming streets of Trastevere, and every tour always includes a pizza tasting, a delicious sit-down pasta dinner, and authentic Italian gelato, along with other local specialties. Some itineraries may include renowned local favorites such as Spirito Divino or Da Enzo, however these restaurants are not included on every departure, and stops may vary based on availability to ensure the best possible experience.

This tour was so much fun! My favorite experience in Rome. Tour guide was great, food was great, and the pace of the tour was perfect for everyone in my group with ages ranging from 20 to 83. Highly recommend!

Small group, excellently led by Elena (sp?). She clearly has a passion for Rome and for food. The tour was well-organized and we got to try some Roman staples, including different pastas, beer, wine, gelato, porchetta, suppli! Definitely worth the price of admission, we were stuffed! It was also fun having a sit-down in some situations and getting to talk with the others on the tour. Recommend.

Eating Europe does it right! Their guides are always so enthusiastic, personable, and knowledgeable. I love that they incorporate historical/cultural context, not just food in and of itself. In this case, Rish was an amazing guide of Trastevere who grew up in the neighborhood and still lives there today. I think the highlight for me was seeing an underground wine cellar that originated in pre-BC, where a famous statue was found, and then seeing that statue in the Vatican museums the next day!!

Bryan was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. I've never eaten so much on a food tour before. We were very full by the end. The food at all stops were very good. Bryan even gave us some additional recommendations of other places to try while in Rome.
