What your day looks like
Welcome to the Secret Food Tours: Florence! On our tour, we'll take you away from the tourist traps and into the heart of the city, where you can experience the real Florence. We'll stop by one of the most beautiful cafès in the city to learn how local Florentines do breakfast. Visit the off the beaten track Sant'Ambrogio where everyday Florentines go for local produce Sample a variety of Tuscan cheeses, meats and hams that make the region so famous You'll then try lampredotto, the legendary street food of Florence. Visit a local trattoria and dine on regional tuscan pastas and soups. We'll cool off with a fresh gelato in an artisanal shop. As with all our tours, there's our delicious Secret Dish. What to Bring
To join our food tour, you must wear comfortable shoes
Restrictions
No vegan, gluten-free only on private tours. There will be around 1-hour walking but it's not too difficult and there are no hills or stairs. If you walk slowly, then our guide will walk slowly as well.
Meeting & Pickup
The meeting spot is in Piazza di Santa Croce, at the bottom of Dante's Statue.
