Great tour, logistics were care for perfectly with a guide meeting us in Rome and riding with the group to Naples where we were handed off to our local guide. The bus to Pompeii was great and dropped us right out front. The tour guide was wonderful. It was HOT and she kept us in the shade when possible but made sure we still got to see everything. The winery was lovely with great wine and lovely scenery. The food was just okay, but I would definitely recommend. We did buy some wine and it arrived at my door in the US about a week after our visit!

The tour was as discribed, it started on time in the location indicated and in our opinion, worth the money. The guide(s) were knowledgeable and respectful, we never felt rushed. There were a lot of logistics in play in order to make this work. We were quite surprised on how well it was all coordinated starting with the meet up at the train station in Rome, to getting the train tickets, boarding, meeting up with the guide in Pompeii, the ride to the ruins site, the wine tasting, it was all well thought through. Very surprised...

Fabulous tour and tour guides ensuring we were on the right train, meeting us and guiding us through Pompeii-imparting an intimate and educational view of the ruins, the incredible wine tasting and meal experience, and then guiding us efficiently on the return train. They united us as a group, in a shared experience, and we came away enriched beyond words.

Great tour. Very organized. Guide patient and informative. I'd say do a bit of research beforehand to ask guide to hit any particular aspects of interest as you can't get through it all. Wine tasting/lunch was surprisingly fun and lovely. Great tour overall and recommend!
