What travelers are saying
Tour guide was disinterested in answering questions, slowing down his pace while walking and while talking. Often he left an area without making certain everyone was together. He even went up the tram to Masada without telling everyone he was leaving so at least 10 of us out of a group of 22 were left behind on the platform. When he spoke he was very hard to understand, both because he spoke rapidly as well as had a thick accent. At various times people asked him to repeat what he said because he either started speaking before we all got into a room or area or because we didn’t understand what he said and he ignored us. Listening to other tour guides and the interest they had with their tour made us want to move to another tour. It was disappointing to spend close to 1.5 hours in a cafeteria for lunch on Masada when we could have had lunch at one of the many restaurants at the Dead Sea. We ended up having only an hour and 15 minutes at the Dead Sea which did not allow time to enjoy the experience. The overall tour should have been magical. Instead it was a frustrating day trying to understand and keep up with an uncaring and annoying tour guide.
