The Experience
What your day looks like
This exhilarating safari jeep adventure starts when we head south past the Inn of the Good Samaritan and descend through the Biblical wilderness. At the sign indicating “sea level” we pause for a moment to take in the views across the desert. The tour continues to the edge of the Dead Sea at 430m below sea level where we pass the Qumran caves famed as the site of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. At this point we transfer to a 4X4 jeep and the excitement escalates as we race through the desert landscape over rocky hills and through dry river beds. We will learn about the desert environment, plants and animals as well as seeing places like the Cliffs of Dragot and the Murbaat Caves. The final stop is at the Dead Sea were we can cool off and enjoy the rejuvenating atmosphere.

What to know before booking

What to Bring
- Recommended to bring hats, bathing suit, towels, sun protection and comfortable walking shoes. - Recommended to bring water and light meal. - It is recommended to be in the water no longer than 20 minutes; the same can be said about the Mud. (You can smear the mineral-rich mud from the sea ground all over your body, including your face). Once it dries, wash it off thoroughly. Thereafter proceed to wash in the freshwater showers nearby off the shore.
