What your day looks like
The unique local dance performance narrates the story of a princess kidnapped by the evil King of Alengka and the battle with the Monkey King. The performance is accompanied by a powerful choir of men, who create the music with their voices instead of instruments, lasting nearly an hour. The Kecak dance showcases a range of good and evil characters, each wearing distinctive costumes that bring the story to life. To help visitors follow along, a sheet with character names and the storyline in multiple languages is provided, making it easier to understand the performance.

The journey, in full
Uluwatu Temple Uluwatu Temple is a significant Hindu temple located on the southern tip of Bali. Perched on a dramatic cliff about 100 meters above the ocean, the temple offers stunning views and a large, open courtyard. The area is home to wild grey monkeys with long tails, which roam freely around the temple grounds. After exploring the temple, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset view, weather permitting. To the left, there is a stage where the traditional Fire Kecak Dance is performed. The tour concludes with this mesmerizing dance, which portrays a scene from the epic Ramayana.
