Experience the best Iceland has to offer with spectacular Whale Watching opportunities. Our tours offer a unique experience and we do our best to make this a lifetime experience for you. A Whale Watching adventure departing from Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavik. We sail into Faxaflói Bay in search of Minke and Humpback whales, Dolphins, Harbour porpoises and Killer whales (a rare sighting). On this tour, you will also experience the spectacular views of the mountains and islands around Reykjavik as well as the wonderful bird life. On board, we have warm overalls, heated spacious indoor cabins, a nice bar and free WiFi. Puffins are some of the most interesting creatures on the planet. With big, colourful beaks, dark soulful eyes and an almost penguin-like appearance, it is hard not to love them. Embarking on a puffin-watching cruise is similar to going on an ocean treasure hunt – you never really know what's going to appear. We go with our small boat named Skúlaskeið (“Old Skúli“) which is perfect for puffin watching since it has a shallow draught and therefore can get close to the small islands where the puffins live. Puffins are usually witnesses on the nearby land, bobbing on the water or flying overhead – the charismatic Puffin is definitely a treat to see in person! Whale Watching 09:00 departure & Puffin 12:30 departure: You will start by jumping on board our Whale Watching tour at 9 a.m. When you arrive back at the harbour around 12:15, you will have a few minutes to hop on board our Puffin watching boat, Skúlaskeið, departing at 12:30. Don’t worry – if you miss it, we will get you on the next available tour at 14:00 or at 15:30. Whale Watching 13:00 departure & Puffin 17:00 departure: You will start by jumping on board our Whale Watching tour at 1 p.m. When you arrive back at the harbour around 16:00, you will have a few minutes to hop on board our Puffin watching boat, Skúlaskeið, departing at 17:00.
