On this tour we will walk we take a short walk through downtown Reykjavík. Throughout the tour we will share with you some fun and interesting stories from Iceland's history from Vikings to modern times. You will learn about some main historical events and learn how the fight for survival, freedom, and tolerance have shaped the nation. Learn how these values continue to shape its liberal attitudes today. Listen as your guide brings not-so-common stories to life through humor and enjoy some complimentary traditional Icelandic food at the end at a local restaurant. We are history buffs with a passion for storytelling and your new best friends in Reykjavík. Please note: The meal offered at the end is a traditional Icelandic hot dog 'ein með öllu'.

What to Bring
Dress according to the weather. In Iceland, it is always wise to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be very sudden so expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.
