The Experience
What your day looks like
We start the tour by driving straight to Dynjandi waterfall, the majestic icon of the Westfjords region. We stop there for an hour to enjoy the wonderful views and to listen to the soothing sounds of water tumbling down the mountain in a series of seven distinct waterfalls. The top tier is certainly the most impressive, but each one of the other six is unique in its own right. We highly recommend the easy hike up to the top tier for a magnificent view, though the view from the bottom is also great, and hiking is not required. You will enjoy the fantastic landscape of the Westfjords throughout the whole tour.

What to Bring
Dress according to the weather and err on the warm side, as the weather can change during the tour. Waterproof hiking boots or similar shoes are recommended, the walking trails at Dynjandi can get wet and slippery even on a sunny day (due to the spray from the waterfall). We recommend bringing your own packed lunch/snacks.
Restrictions
Participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We highly recommend to dress warmly in layers and to account for wet weather. Sturdy hiking shoes are necessary, especially for those would plan on hiking to the top tier of the waterfall. The strenuous path is often wet due to spray from the waterfall.

We booked this trip because it was an express tour of 3 hours which returned at 11.30 am. We had a Whalesafari at 12 am. vSom it was only the transportation to the falls and back. This was [roperly carried out.
